Murray Mexted graduated from a distinguished career as an All Black No 8,  where he played every match consecutively for eight years,  to his current vocation as  Managing Director of The International Rugby Academy.

He has become an integral member of Sky Television's Rugby Commentary team, and has become world renowned for his humorous double entendres and freudian slips, affectionately known as "Mex-isms".

Murray is an accomplished Corporate Presenter, MC, and Public Speaker.

 

 

Career Highlights

1979-1986: All Black, playing 85 Matches (6 as Captain).

1975-1986: Wellington Rugby Union, playing 107 Matches (15 as Captain).
 
1987-1989: Wellington Rugby Union Executive Committee-Three portfolio's.

1996-Present: Rugby Commentator. Sky Television -  Air New Zealand Cup, Super 14, Tri Series, Bledisloe Cup & All Black Internationals.
ITV- 2007 Rugby World Cup, 13 matches.

2000-Present: International Rugby Academy. Founder and MD of the world's first independent, High Performance Rugby Academy.
 
2001: Presenter of McDonald's Super 12 television and radio campaign.

2001-2002: One of three billboard presenters for Nescafe's "Express Yourself" campaign.
